Locating the Key to Access the Underworks
Before players can reach the region holding the Clawline, they must first acquire a crucial item known as the White Key. This key is located within the Songclave area in the upper right section of the Choral Chambers. Once secured, travel to the vertical chamber on the lower left side of the Choral Chambers and use the key on the sealed crystalline door mechanism to unlock the Whiteward elevator.
Navigating Through The Cauldron
Descending via the elevator brings players into the hazardous Underworks region. From here, press deeper into the subterranean pathways until arriving at a subzone designated as The Cauldron. This area features dangerous environmental mechanics, including pools of scorching lava and falling hazards that demand precise movement timing.
Cross the molten platforms by carefully utilizing air dashes and wall clings to stay safe from environmental damage. Maintaining continuous momentum prevents Hornet from taking heavy damage while moving through the chamber.
Acquiring the Clawline Ability
At the far end of the molten chamber in The Cauldron sits the Clawline Idol altar. Interacting with this ancient shrine immediately unlocks the Clawline ability for Hornet. Equipping this ancestral art grants players the ability to launch a silk-strung needle forward like a harpoon at the cost of Silk.
It allows you to latch onto background fixtures, target rings, and hostile creatures to pull yourself across massive gaps. Mastering this mechanic is essential for exploring late-game locations across Pharloom.
Escaping the Clawline Chamber
Upon obtaining the ability, the entry door to the altar room seals behind you, forcing players to use their newly acquired power to escape. You must fire the harpoon upward at hostile targets and overhead golden rings to gain altitude. Reaching the upper right ledge unlocks a shortcut back toward the nearest regional bench, making future travel significantly safer.
